The List for Monday, April 26th 2021

Welcome to The List,

Saving Country Music says Miranda Lambert recently performed live at Billy Bob’s in Fort Worth, Texas. Around 1,200 people socially distanced… Miranda broke down while singing  “The House That Built Me.”

People magazine says Chris Lane’s wife, Lauren, doesn’t like the name he picked out for their soon-to-be-born son. He threw out the name Rambo, and she shot it down hard. I said imagine when he comes up to bat and they say ‘Rambo Lane,’ that sounds like he’s about to drop a bomb!

And everyone has a hidden talent..Tenille Arts well SHE has one…”I can make baby cat noises. I spent a lot of time around farm cats.”

We Got This Covered says Hollywood is rebooting “The A-Team”. The original film starred Liam Neeson and Bradley Cooper, among others. The website says the new A-Team movie is going to be more like Fast and the Furious and may feature Will Smith leading a team of female mercenaries.

Brobible says Buccaneers tight end Rob Gronkowski set a new world record on Friday when he caught a football that was dropped 600 feet from a helicopter. He beat the old record by 37 feet.

Tom Cruise rescued a cameraman on the set of ”Mission Impossible 7” on Saturday. Tom and the cameraman were on a moving train when the cameraman slipped. Tom grabbed him to prevent him from falling and from dropping his equipment. The cameraman eventually regained his balance and was fine.

You can catch The List, weekdays at 2:20 and 4:20 on Iowa’s BEST Country KIX 101.1

The List for Wednesday, February 11th 2026

Welcome to The List,

Luke Combs tells Southern Living he is a simple Southern comfort food guy. Barbecue, mac and cheese, cornbread, and he is happy. No truffle foam. No tiny portions on giant plates. So next time he swings through KIX Country, forget the autograph. Hand that man a brisket and watch the magic happen.

Rumors say Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani have allegedly made relationship resolutions to avoid drifting apart. Sources claim they are being more intentional with work, church, health, and actual date nights. Less coasting, more communicating. A very deliberate reset, according to insiders. Nothing says romance like a scheduled calendar invite.

-----

Riley Green admits he has never celebrated Valentine’s Day with a girlfriend. He calls himself a procrastinator and jokes that Christmas gifts get wrapped in newspaper. Romantic. Truly. He says a Valentine’s date would likely involve last-minute grocery store flowers. Sir, the bar is already low. Please step over it.

-----

Post Malone hit the stage at a Bud Light Super Bowl show and found out beers were $14. He called it unacceptable and tried dropping the price to $7, then $5, even joked about $3 for Cowboys fans. Spoiler alert. The bartenders kept charging full price. The crowd still had fun. But we can all agree, fourteen dollars for a beer is emotional damage.

Catch The List, weekday afternoons at 4:20 with Jonathan Knight. Only on Iowa’s BEST Country KIX 101.1
