The List for Wednesday, April 7th 2021

Welcome to The List –

Many of us have tried to stay active during the pandemic Florida Georgia Line’s Brian Kelley has too… “I was throwing baseball, getting my arm in shape for a while there. And I still throw here and there, but I was getting pretty serious on it.   working in the yard, and just doing everything under the sun in between doing FGL stuff, Trying to stay physically healthy too, and bike rides, trail rides and all that stuff.” Sounds like he has a handle on it, I’ve been stayin in shape I think…round IS a shape right?

Rascal Flatts’ Jay DeMarcus says the band has had a real impact on the lives of some of their fans. “It was wonderful to see the outpouring of love for our music and what we’ve meant to their lives. And that’s been one of the great things about this band, I think, is we’ve always been able to find songs that really do resonate and last throughout the changing times.” Who hasn’t been to a graduation that they played ‘My Wish’ or a wedding that played ‘Broken Road’

Mark Wahlberg will turn 50 this June. He says he’s looking forward to  partying with his family and friends. “You know it is a big one, I can’t believe I’m turning 50 but sometimes because of the grind and everything I passed 50 along time ago.”  Even at 50 Mark still gets up at 2 am to workout in his gym, and support his like of health products that you see in HyVee.

a Superman comic recently sold for $3.25 million. The comic was published in 1938 and explains how Superman came to Earth from another planet. The previous record for a comic sale was $ 3.2 million.

Ace Showbiz says Chris Hemsworth is trying to convince Russell Crowe to make a sequel to ”Gladiator”. A source says Chris wants to produce the film. “Chris is in awe of Russell. He hangs off his every word and Russ has really taken him under his wing.” The two are currently filming the new Thor movie in Australia

The List for Monday, March 23rd 2026

Welcome to The List,

Keith Urban is officially boarding the yacht rock cruise. The country star says a full covers album is coming. It will feature classic yacht rock songs and only one original track. He even teased fans with a smooth cover of Stephen Bishop’s “On and On.” No release date yet. But apparently Keith brought boat shoes.

-----

ABC may be ready to dump The Bachelorette for good. Insiders claim executives now call the franchise “toxic.” Critics say the show stopped being about love and started chasing messy drama. Ratings have been sliding for years. The big question inside ABC now is simple. Is it finally time to pull the plug.

-----

Travis Kelce is apparently running an investigation. Someone has been leaking details about his wedding plans with Taylor Swift. Sources say Travis is trying to figure out who is talking. He is also trying to keep Taylor calm about the chaos. Because nothing says romance like a celebrity leak hunt.

-----

Luke Combs just turned Las Vegas into a country concert record book. His show at Allegiant Stadium pulled in 70,921 fans. That breaks the stadium record previously set by a massive boxing match. Country music just beat prize fighting in Vegas. Luke Combs basically threw the knockout punch.

You can catch The List, weekday afternoons at 4:20 with Jonathan Knight. Only on Iowa’s BEST Country KIX 101.1
