The List for Friday, February 19th 2021

Welcome to The List –

Luke Bryan says he’s changed and grown as an “American Idol” judge … when I really, really like something, I know it, and when I don’t, it’s like, okay, let’s get back to the talent.  we’re really focused to find the best talent we can find, because it certainly validates our show and we want our work to really come to light by finding the right winner and even getting the Top 10 perfect.” You can catch American idol Sunday nights on ABC

Dolly Parton tells Vanity Fair magazine that she doesn’t want the state of Tennessee to erect a statue on her behalf. She thanked them for their consideration, She’s honored and humbled but given all that is going on in the world, Dolly doesn’t think putting her on a pedestal isn’t appropriate. Maybe, somewhere down the road several years from now or perhaps after she’s gone if they still feel she deserve it, then she’ll stand proud in the great State Capitol as a grateful Tennessean.

Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi says her daughter taught her how to use the Tik Tok app “So, she actually taught me how to do Tik Tok with like the timing and cutting it up.  I had no idea what I was doing and she’s six.”  I watch the video’s still have not made one yet.  I need to find a six year old to teach me how to use it I guess…

NASA’s made history yesterday the Perseverance Rover landed on Mars. It was a 239 million-mile journey through space. The rover will collect samples and spread them across Mars before retrieving them in 2023.

Twitter posts…

No sign of Matt Damon yet.

The Federal Government continues to spend far too much money trying to rescue Matt Damon.  He knew what he was getting into

The List for Wednesday, September 17th 2025

Welcome to The List,

Keanu Reeves allegedly pulled off the most Keanu thing ever   secretly marrying Alexandra Grant in Europe earlier this summer. No Hollywood circus, no over-the-top spectacle, just a quiet, intimate “Matrix unplugged” kind of wedding. She’s his sounding board, he’s her biggest fan. The only shocking part is that someone this famous actually managed to keep it a secret.

So, Jackson Dean is out here talking about what his CB radio handle would be. Forget “Smokey and the Bandit,” ‘I don’t know, man.’ We came up with … one of ‘em was Peacock, somebody else had another one, and then mine was White Tiger. I have this giant blanket with a Siberian tiger on it that I’ve been sleepin’ on for the last four years, and they’re like, ‘There you go, White Tiger.’ So, I’m the White Tiger.”

Robert Redford passed away at 89 and, in true Redford style, chose a private funeral. No Hollywood lights, no fanfare just peace at Sundance, the place he considered home. A source says it’s exactly who he was: no noise, no show, just authenticity. It’s rare in Hollywood that a star gets to exit the stage exactly the way they wanted.

-----

Before Riley Green was crooning hits, he was competing on the CMT reality show Redneck Island back in 2016. And get this he and his partner actually won the whole thing, splitting a cool $100K. From redneck games to country fame? Now that’s what you call a the most profitable mud fight in TV history.

The List for Tuesday, September 16th 2025

Welcome to The List,

We start today with sad news from Hollywood. Robert Redford the iconic actor, director, and the man who gave us Sundance has died at the age of 89. A statement says he passed away at his beloved home in Utah, surrounded by family. Redford wasn’t just a movie star, he was a storyteller, an activist, and one of the last true legends of cinema. He will be deeply missed.

So rumor has it Carrie Underwood wants to dust off her acting chops and head back to Hollywood. But here’s the kicker: insiders say it’s less about Oscars and more about one-upping Taylor Swift. Supposedly Carrie wants the satisfaction of doing what Taylor hasn’t— a serious acting role. Their rivalry? Oh, it’s alive and well. Sounds like Hollywood could get a new sequel: “Country Queens: The Petty Years.”

-----

Apparently, Travis Kelce is feeling the heat not just from the defensive line, but from dating Taylor Swift. Sources say every fumble isn’t just a football oops, it’s a global headline. And that pressure’s starting to get to him. Taylor’s worried, she loves him, but even she sees the toll. So, the big question: is the cookie starting to crumble… or are they just baking under the spotlight?

-----

Over the weekend, video popped up of Zach Bryan literally climbing a fence… not to save a cat… but to get to country singer Gavin Adcock. Looked more like a “hold my beer” moment than a good decision. Gavin responded saying Zach was “absolutely wasted” and he had a show to do, plus, “everyone knows how that would’ve ended.” Translation: Zach, buddy, that was not your highlight reel.
