Cedar Rapids Kennedy downed Marshalltown in high school baseball on Memorial Day in Marshalltown by the score of 12-8. The Cougars scored six in the second inning and four more in the third inning and never looked back. Despite scoring eight runs the Bobcats made six errors in amassing 11 hits. Cole Keeler was the losing pitcher for Marshalltown. MHS hit two doubles and a triple. Marshalltown is now 5-1 and will play a doubleheader at West Des Moines Valley Wednesday night at 5 p.m.
