(Marshalltown, Iowa) – Marshalltown Police have arrested a woman for stealing thousands of dollars from a local attorney’s office. According to police reports, an independent audit of the Boliver Law Firm, showed $75,000 was missing from the books. Police arrested 40-year-old Evelia Mendoza of Marshalltown. She’s been charged with First-Degree Theft. Mendoza is due in court on June 6th.
