The List for Friday, November 13th 2020

Welcome to The List,

Morgan Wallen wasn’t kidding when he told fans on Twitter recently that he was thinking of putting out a double album. On the heels of his New Artist of the Year victory at Wednesday’s CMA Awards show, Morgan has announced a massive, two-disc project, Dangerous, which is due out on January 8. All told, the album consists of 30 songs, plus two exclusive bonus tracks.

Chris Stapleton talks to Jimmy Kimmel about how he got on ‘Game Of Thrones’ “There have been a few people much more famous than I am to get in on the show and have bit parts you know…I want to do that even if I’m going over there you know I’m just layin in the dirt. So, they agreed to let me come and do that.” Chris Stapleton, made a brief cameo as a fallen Wildling-turned-White Walker outside Winterfell as Jon Snow tries to charge the Night King. Which if your a fan of the show…you know that didn’t turn out so well.

Just as NBC premiered their Wednesday night line up of Chicago Fire, Med, and PD…They had to stop production for two weeks on Chicago Fire after multiple members of the series’ production team tested positive for coronavirus. The work stoppage began on Nov. 8. COVID-imposed shutdown.

E! News says the ”Friends” reunion special is going to take place in 2021. Matthew Perry posted: “Friends reunion being rescheduled for the beginning of March. Looks like we have a busy year coming up. And that’s the way I like it!”

Rolling Out magazine says a change.org petition has been started to get LeVar Burton to take over as host of ”Jeopardy.” It has over 8,000 signatures

Jimmy Fallon talks about Ticketmaster requiring people to get a coronavirus test before they attend events. “Come on half the fun of going to a concert is not knowing what you’re going to catch, it backfires when you see sketchy guys selling negative COVID tests outside the arena.”

The List for Thursday, December 11th 2025

Welcome to The List,

The Kansas City Chiefs are reportedly going out of their way to respect Travis Kelce’s relationship with Taylor Swift. They haven’t monetized the romance, they don’t splash her on the big screens, and they don’t blast her music in the stadium. Travis says he appreciates it because when he’s on the field, “it’s all about the team.”  Meanwhile, judging by how he’s been playing the last few games… it seems like his mind might be somewhere else. Maybe in a cardigan.

-----

Tim McGraw stunned fans at a recent concert after stepping onstage in skin-tight suede pants with tassels down the sides. Parade Magazine says the Internet responded instantly with commentary like: “Dude raided Lainey Wilson’s closet,” “Lainey Wilson wore them better,” and my favorite — “Lainey McGraw.” I mean… if you’re gonna rock tassels, commit. Somewhere, Faith Hill is lighting a prayer candle.

-----

Jelly Roll just had the moment dreams are made of. While chatting on Joe Rogan’s podcast, Joe played him a recorded message from Craig Morgan officially inviting Jelly to become a member of the Grand Ole Opry. Jelly immediately broke down in tears. This is the kind of full-circle moment that hits harder than his songs. From jail cells to the Opry… man, that story writes itself.

-----

Sharon Osbourne revealed heartbreaking details about Ozzy’s final night. She said he asked her to kiss him and hold him tight, and that he was incredibly happy in his final weeks thanks to the “Back to the Beginning” concert. Say what you want about the Osbournes… but that man loved his music, loved his fans, and clearly adored Sharon until the very end. That’s a tough one.

You can catch The List, weekday afternoons at 4:20 with Jonathan Knight. Only on Iowa’s BEST Country KIX 101.1
