Welcome to The List,
Even though the CMA’s where pretty good last night there were some acts that didn’t perform due to COVID. Lee Brice and Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard dropped out earlier in the week because they both tested positive and Lady A was the third act to bow out because of a potential exposure. they continue to test negative for the virus but decided for safety not to perform last night.
Reba McEntire revealed that she turned down a role as a coach on the first season of “The Voice” that ultimately went to Blake Shelton. Why? “Because I don’t think I would ever be able to tell somebody they’re terrible or go find another job. I couldn’t do that day in and day out, I just couldn’t do it.”
How long can you hold YOUR breath!!! as long as Tom Cruise?? He held his breath for the movie “Mission Impossible:Rogue Nation” for 6 minutes underwater…well, Kate Winslet just beat that record by one minute while filming a scene for “Avatar 2”. Winslet had no idea that her record-setting shoot was even public knowledge. She doesn’t do social media, so she was surprised when people came up to congratulate her on her record seven minutes and four-teen seconds…
Vince Vaughn talks about his new movie “Freaky” saying it’s a mix of scares and comedy “Yeah, it’s got great scares, the kills are great there well done, there’s alot of jumps and theirs’s alot of funny stuff in the movie too.” A high school student switches bodies with a serial killer. From the director of “Happy Death Day.” “Freaky” is rated R and in theaters tonight

Welcome to The List,
Rumors are flying that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have allegedly set a wedding date. A so-called source says the planning is “military-level precise,” which tracks, because Taylor hates surprises and Travis runs NFL playbooks for a living. Pop music, professional football, and Hollywood elite all in one room. Locked down, protected, unforgettable. Basically the most intense group project ever attempted.

Former Bachelor host Chris Harrison is launching a new dating show for people who want a “traditional, marriage-minded partnership built on commitment and shared values.” Which apparently is now considered edgy programming. Somewhere, reality TV just gasped. This is not roses and drama. This is compatibility and emotional maturity.

Before Luke Combs made it big, he had $200 left in his bank account. That money went toward mastering one song, “Hurricane.” He releases it, sells about 10,000 copies the first week, and uses the cash to finish the rest of the album. Then pitches it to labels. And that, kids, is how you bet on yourself and win.

Toby Keith, Kenny Rogers, and Ed Harris are being inducted into the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum. The ceremony happens in April in Oklahoma City. They’re joining legends like George Strait, Brooks & Dunn, Kurt Russell, and Burt Reynolds. That is a hall with serious swagger. Cowboy hats optional. Legends required.
