The List for Wednesday, October 28th 2020

Welcome to The List –

Because of the pandemic, how much is Halloween this year going to change? For Justin Moore not really alot “You know, where we’re from, it’s not the typical Halloween that most kids, I guess, have anyway. We drive ‘em to the people who we know so, I’m sure it probably won’t change much for us,. So, I have a hard time believing Halloween for us will change that much but I feel for those out there who it will, especially the kiddos.”

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are getting married. Gwen announced her engagement to Blake on Instagram yesterday. She captioned an image of the pair kissing and showing off her ring. The two have been dating since 2015. So, If I may for the fans “It’s about time Blake!”

Searching for your favorite celeb on Google could be dangerous for your computer. A new study warns that some celeb Google searches carry high risks of exposing your computer to viruses and malware..with the most dangerous search being for Anna Kendrick. Those searches could place fans’ personal information at risk by pointing you to sites that covertly infect your computer.

Energy drinks are all over and very popular…and it was bound to happen that someone would combine the “energy drink” with beer…now you have the new “Four Loko” energy beer. It has everything in an energy drink with loads of caffeine and of course alcohol and Jimmy Fallon comments on the new drink “Four Loko is coming out with a new bottle drink, called Pre-game. It’s perfect for when you want to pass out before leaving the house. You can either drink it or skip a step and put yourself into the back of a police car.”

You can catch The List weekdays at 2:20 and 4:20 on Iowa’s BEST Country KIX 101.1

The List for Thursday, February 5th 2026

Welcome to The List,

Rumors are flying that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have allegedly set a wedding date. A so-called source says the planning is “military-level precise,” which tracks, because Taylor hates surprises and Travis runs NFL playbooks for a living. Pop music, professional football, and Hollywood elite all in one room. Locked down, protected, unforgettable. Basically the most intense group project ever attempted.

-----

Former Bachelor host Chris Harrison is launching a new dating show for people who want a “traditional, marriage-minded partnership built on commitment and shared values.” Which apparently is now considered edgy programming. Somewhere, reality TV just gasped. This is not roses and drama. This is compatibility and emotional maturity.

-----

Before Luke Combs made it big, he had $200 left in his bank account. That money went toward mastering one song, “Hurricane.” He releases it, sells about 10,000 copies the first week, and uses the cash to finish the rest of the album. Then pitches it to labels. And that, kids, is how you bet on yourself and win.

-----

Toby Keith, Kenny Rogers, and Ed Harris are being inducted into the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum. The ceremony happens in April in Oklahoma City. They’re joining legends like George Strait, Brooks & Dunn, Kurt Russell, and Burt Reynolds. That is a hall with serious swagger. Cowboy hats optional. Legends required.

Catch The List, with Jonathan Knight weekday afternoon at 4:20. Only on Iowa’s BEST Country KIX 101.1
