The List for Friday, March 20th 2026

Welcome to The List,

Hollywood lost a true action legend today. Chuck Norris, the martial arts star and longtime “Walker, Texas Ranger” icon, has died at age 86, according to statements from his family.  Beyond the screen, his larger-than-life reputation exploded online through viral “Chuck Norris facts,” turning him into one of pop culture’s most enduring memes.

-----

Arnold is back forging steel abs in Venice - Schwarzenegger is grinding at the legendary Gold’s Gym again, training for a Conan sequel. He wants real muscles on screen, even if Hollywood quietly sprinkles in some CGI seasoning.

-----

Luke Combs battled wings like a true warrior - Luke became the first country star on Hot Ones, turkey calling between bites and comparing spicy wings to a home invasion. Nashville just found a new extreme sport.

-----

Lainey, Riley, and Cody bringing stadium energy - The ACM Awards are heading to Vegas, and this trio is set to light up the MGM Grand stage. Rhinestones, roar, and probably at least one cowboy hat thrown in victory.

You can catch The List, weekday afternoons at 4:20 with Jonathan Knight. Only on Iowa’s BEST Country KIX 101.1
