The List for Thursday September 17th 2020

Welcome to The List –

The late Johnny Cash’s family has given their seal of approval of an upcoming album of orchestral renditions of the late country legend’s hits. Cash’s vocals appear alongside arrangements by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra on a 12-track LP, which was recorded at the iconic Abbey Road Studios in London. The recordings include “Man In Black” and “Ring Of Fire,” and others “Johnny Cash and The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra” will be released on November 13.

Last night on The 2020 ACM Awards Keith Urban was a little shocked to announce that there was a tie for the Entertainer of the Year It’s never happened before…“We have a tie…this has got to be a first in ACM history. We have a tie for Entertainer of the Year…Thomas Rhett tied with Entertainer of the Year Carrie Underwood.”

Strap in!! Top Gun: Maverick is set to hit theaters July of next year and actor Jon Hamm has seen an early cut of the film…“I loved it…it’s everything you hope it’s going to be. Tom is obviously perfect in it, the movie has exactly the right mix of nostalgia for the first one, but then continuation of the story for the characters…you don’t expect anything else from Tom Cruise at this point”

And finally Jimmy Fallon talks about the problems Chuck E. Cheese is facing “Well, this isn’t good Chuck E. Cheese is facing some financial trouble. They’re now trying to destroy seven billion prize tickets. If you’re unaware in Chuck E. Cheese math, seven billion tickets is ruffly worth one plastic spider ring….and a sticky hand you can grab things with.”

The List for Thursday, April 2nd 2026

Welcome to The List,

Horror fans, buckle up, because nightmare fuel just got a backstory. That creepy Aunt Gladys from Weapons is getting her own prequel. The same witch who basically ruined recess forever. Now we’re diving into her origin story. Cool, cool… just what we needed. Sleep is officially canceled this fall.

-----

ABC went full chaos for April Fool’s Day, announcing Miss Piggy as the next Bachelorette. Twenty-five men competing for love, drama, and probably karate chops. Jesse Palmer hosting, roses flying, egos bruised. And yes, they even joked about criminal records. Finally, a dating show where someone might actually get slapped on night one.

-----

Garth Brooks might be hitting the road, but apparently his nerves got there first. Reports say he’s stressed about touring and not having Trisha by his side. Because even country legends need emotional support spouses. Between legal drama and stage jitters, it’s a lot. Moral of the story, even Garth gets the pre-show butterflies.

-----

Taylor Sheridan says if critics are mad, he’s doing his job right. The guy behind Yellowstone is basically trolling reviewers on purpose. He wants them fired up, writing angry think pieces. Because nothing sells like outrage and cowboy drama. Imagine getting paid to annoy people… oh wait, radio.

The List for Wednesday, April 1st 2026

Welcome to The List,

Meghan Markle allegedly thought she could jump the royal line. A new book claims she believed she should be queen next. Said she was smarter, better, and worked harder than Kate. That’s not confidence, that’s skipping the entire family tree.

-----

Two Blackhawk helicopters hovering over Kid Rock’s house raised eyebrows fast. Army pilots got suspended while the investigation played out. Then the Defense Secretary stepped in and shut it down. Suspensions lifted, no punishment, case closed just like that.

-----

Keith Urban might be ready to say a little more. A report claims he felt iced out of Nicole Kidman’s interview. She talked family and life but didn’t mention him once. Now there’s talk he could finally tell his side. Nothing says romance like a possible press tour response.

-----

And if you saw Jason Aldean storm off Colbert… relax. That viral story is completely made up from top to bottom. Wrong show name, bad details, zero credible sources behind it. The internet really said “let’s just create chaos today.” Moral of the story, not everything trending is actually true…I know…surprise right??
