The List for Wednesday September 16th 2020

Welcome to The List –

The ACM’s are tonight and Thomas Rhett and Jon Pardi are scheduled to play. Thomas says they’re going to “Wing it” on stage “That’s kinda me and Jon’s style, too. We don’t really practice much together. It’s just kind of like whatever happens ends up happening. It should be really exciting, and Jon brought a little choreography bit so, we might be dancin’ up there. It might be really fun.” The ACM Awards take place tonight on CBS.

Kacey Musgraves has reached a divorce settlement with her husband, Ruston Kelly. The country singer split from musician Ruston Kelly earlier this year, and new court papers have revealed that Kacey will get 84.4% of the proceeds of their house sale, while Ruston will have the rest, TMZ reports. Kacey and Ruston announced their split in July.

Jimmy Kimmel was on with Kelly and Ryan and talks about his Summer vacation “I bought an RV…loaded the family into the RV and drove to Idaho” and Ryan asked if he has a special licence to drive it and Jimmie said “No but you should” because it’s so big.

Law & Order: SUV began production on its 22nd season in New York City on Monday, and the show’s star, Mariska Hargitay celebrated the event by posting a couple of behind-the-scenes photos on her official Instagram page. Law & Order: SVU, TV’s longest-running prime time live-action series, is scheduled to return Thursday, November 12 at 9 p.m. ET on NBC.

The List for Thursday, February 5th 2026

Welcome to The List,

Rumors are flying that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have allegedly set a wedding date. A so-called source says the planning is “military-level precise,” which tracks, because Taylor hates surprises and Travis runs NFL playbooks for a living. Pop music, professional football, and Hollywood elite all in one room. Locked down, protected, unforgettable. Basically the most intense group project ever attempted.

-----

Former Bachelor host Chris Harrison is launching a new dating show for people who want a “traditional, marriage-minded partnership built on commitment and shared values.” Which apparently is now considered edgy programming. Somewhere, reality TV just gasped. This is not roses and drama. This is compatibility and emotional maturity.

-----

Before Luke Combs made it big, he had $200 left in his bank account. That money went toward mastering one song, “Hurricane.” He releases it, sells about 10,000 copies the first week, and uses the cash to finish the rest of the album. Then pitches it to labels. And that, kids, is how you bet on yourself and win.

-----

Toby Keith, Kenny Rogers, and Ed Harris are being inducted into the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum. The ceremony happens in April in Oklahoma City. They’re joining legends like George Strait, Brooks & Dunn, Kurt Russell, and Burt Reynolds. That is a hall with serious swagger. Cowboy hats optional. Legends required.

Catch The List, with Jonathan Knight weekday afternoon at 4:20. Only on Iowa’s BEST Country KIX 101.1
