We are officially pulling ourselves out of Entertainer Of The Year. It’s time for somebody else to hold that award and know what that entertainer feels like, because they’re all out there bustin their butts.” Garth has taken home the prize a total of seven times.

Thomas Rhett Says “Be A Light” Will Help Financially Struggling Musicians … “One cool thing that we’re gonna do with this song is that some of the proceeds are gonna go to the MusiCares COVID-19 relief fund, which is gonna help music industry professionals, who have been financially affected by the shutdown of our touring industry, help get them some compensation. So, not only is this song kind of a light in a little bit of a dark time, but it’s also kind of helping the people that have been directly affected in my world.” Thomas Rhett practicing what he’s preaching…

The Osbournes were On The Talk discussing their new Paranormal show on the Travel Channel called “The Osbournes Want to Believe.” Jack says Ozzy and Sharon are equally skeptical.

Jack: “And then the more you talk to them, well, maybe I believe in something..and then when we’re filming my mom turns around and goes, ‘well, actually I’e had two out of body experiences’.”

Sharon: “Yeah, I have..I have honestly

Ozzy: “Quite a lot more I’m sure..because she’s kinda been juiced.”

On The Tonight Show Jimmy jokes that the CEO’s of Facebook, Google, Apple and Amazon testified about their companies stifling competition…Saying “seeing the four of them together is like seeing the Beatles of selling your personal information”….I am the Walrus…I am you..I have all of your baby photo’s”

Two Blackhawk helicopters hovering over Kid Rock’s house raised eyebrows fast. Army pilots got suspended while the investigation played out. Then the Defense Secretary stepped in and shut it down. Suspensions lifted, no punishment, case closed just like that.

Keith Urban might be ready to say a little more. A report claims he felt iced out of Nicole Kidman’s interview. She talked family and life but didn’t mention him once. Now there’s talk he could finally tell his side. Nothing says romance like a possible press tour response.

And if you saw Jason Aldean storm off Colbert… relax. That viral story is completely made up from top to bottom. Wrong show name, bad details, zero credible sources behind it. The internet really said “let’s just create chaos today.” Moral of the story, not everything trending is actually true…I know…surprise right??

April Pack the Backpack Winner: Sarah Fricke

The April Minuteman Printing & Graphics Pack the Backpack winner, is Sarah Fricke – K-4 Special Behavior Intervention Teacher @ Woodrow Wilson Elementary School in Newton. She was nominated by Steven Marsh, Jaimie Bru, Ashley Durant, and Jonathan Duran, and here is what they wrote to Kix 101.1.

"She loves her job. She is good at her job. And she loves the students like they are her own kids."

"She works hard to help kids with behavior issues be successful at becoming their best self and helps get them on the right track to being able to be in classes with the other kids."

"Sarah is amazing with her students. She always goes above and beyond to make sure that her students are taken care of."

"Sarah teaches in and out of school no matter where you see her. She is always buying supplies, rewards, etc. out of her own pocket to ensure the kids are getting what they need. She goes above and beyond what any teacher is required to do. There are times she brings snacks to ensure kids get a birthday at school, Buys McDonalds, etc. if a child works hard enough on their issue etc."
