Luke Bryan will be hosting The ‘CMA Best Of Fest TV Special’ … The show will feature some unforgettable performances from the last 16 years of ‘CMA Fest’ as well as new performances by Luke and Darius Rucker. “I think the fans will enjoy it…obviously it’s stuff they’ve seen before, but um, I think it’s going to be a pretty meaningful show”

Best of CMA Fest’ airs tonight on ABC.

Country stars say there farewells to Charlie Daniels. Vince Gill remembers Charlie as a kind man. They became good friends., Travis Tritt calls Charlie the ‘greatest man’ he ever met. Gretchen Wilson says Charlie was like a father to her and Trace Adkins remembers when he performed ‘The Devil Went Down To Georgia’ in front of Charlie. He admit…he was a little nervous.. “Friends, I was as nervous as I have ever been before any performance..ever.  But, I went out there and did it, after I was done Charlie looked at me a smiled and nodded his head and had a look on his face as if to say…you’re welcome”

Robert Pattinson’s ‘The Batman’ isn’t even in theaters yet but HBO Max has given a series commitment to a spin off of the upcoming DC Comics film. The untitled TV series will be set in the Gotham City police department. HBO Max said that the show will build upon the film’s examination of corruption in Gotham City and help launch a new Batman universe across multiple platforms. The Batman, starring Robert Pattinson as the Caped Crusader, is set to arrive in theaters on Oct. 1, 2021….It kinda sounds like a something that’s already been done…on TV…and they called it ‘Gotham” …. but what do I know…

Actress Kelly Preston has died, best known for her roles in “The Cat in the Hat” “What a Girl Wants” and with Tom Cruise in “Jerry Maguire” Husband John Travolta shared the news on his Instagram account, revealing that she lost her two-year battle with breast cancer. A family representative told People magazine that the actress passed away yesterday morning. She was 57

If you like Christmas movies, Christmas in July has started on Hallmark channel. July 1 – 26, Hallmark will be airing Christmas movies.

A so-called source says the planning is “military-level precise,” which tracks, because Taylor hates surprises and Travis runs NFL playbooks for a living. Pop music, professional football, and Hollywood elite all in one room. Locked down, protected, unforgettable. Basically the most intense group project ever attempted.

Former Bachelor host Chris Harrison is launching a new dating show for people who want a “traditional, marriage-minded partnership built on commitment and shared values.” Which apparently is now considered edgy programming. Somewhere, reality TV just gasped. This is not roses and drama. This is compatibility and emotional maturity.

Toby Keith, Kenny Rogers, and Ed Harris are being inducted into the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum. The ceremony happens in April in Oklahoma City. They’re joining legends like George Strait, Brooks & Dunn, Kurt Russell, and Burt Reynolds. That is a hall with serious swagger. Cowboy hats optional. Legends required.
