Welcome to The List I’m Jonathan Knight….
With Covid-19 on everyone’s mind, I can tell you Willie Nelson will NOT be slowing down because of it this holiday season…In fact, he’ll be having a busy 4th of July weekend: First he releases his 70th solo studio album, “First Rose of Spring,” today. Then tomorrow, Willie’s annual “4th of July Picnic” a hybrid live-stream/concert-film event in the virtual countryside. Tickets for the digital event — which range from $35 before tomorrow to $45 the day of the event — can be purchased at WilliePicnic.com, where the festivities will stream beginning at 4:30.
And because we’re talking about the 4th of July, lets talk traditions…Thomas Rhett has plenty.. “My girls love to put red, white and blue face paint on. Lauren usually puts ‘em in, like, an American flag ballerina outfit, and they love watching fireworks. They love grilling hot dogs and making s’mores, and we usually do it out at our farm with like 150 people. But this year, it probably is gonna look like we’re gonna have a few less people hanging out with us, but we do love to hang at Fourth of July and love getting to just celebrate that good American tradition.”
Lin-Manuel Miranda’s “Hamilton” is on Disney + … A filmed live performance of “Hamilton” is streaming now on Disney+. Lin-Manuel Miranda is excited that more people will now see the show than ever before. He says the word of mouth with “Hamilton” has been unbelievable over the past few years. Lin recalls how he used to mess up the lyrics to the show. Twitter users made sure to let him know about it. Lin isn’t sure what will happen with Broadway after the pandemic ends, but is glad that they could bring “Hamilton” into people’s homes. “Hamilton” airs on Disney+ today.
The Daily Mirror claims Tiger King star Carole Baskin has joined ‘Cameo’ and is now doing custom videos for fans. She charges $100 for shout outs, birthday greetings and hellos….I just got a shiver….

Welcome to The List,
Diddy is allegedly gearing up for a one-billion-dollar legal smackdown against Netflix over the docuseries Sean Combs: The Reckoning. His camp says there’s unauthorized personal footage in the series. The director fired back saying the footage came to them legally, with full rights, and added that Diddy has basically filmed himself obsessively for decades. She also says they repeatedly asked his legal team for comment and heard… nothing. I’ve watched it and let’s just say, this lawsuit is gonna need popcorn. We with him all the luck.

Lainey Wilson and Devlin Hodges are reportedly planning a big, expensive wedding and sources say Lainey wants the best of the best. Here’s the twist: neither one of them is swimming in mega-millions. But Lainey loves everyone, considers everyone a friend, and apparently invited half of Nashville. Rumored guests include Dolly, Blake and Gwen, Luke Bryan, Jelly Roll, Morgan Wallen, and more. At this point, it’s less a wedding and more a CMA after-party with vows.

The lineup is out for New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash and it is stacked. Lainey Wilson, Zach Top, Riley Green, Megan Moroney, and a whole parade of country hitmakers are ringing in the new year. So if you’re staying home on New Year’s Eve, congratulations Nashville already planned your soundtrack.

And finally… when Leslie Nielsen died, he went out exactly how you’d expect. A fart machine was placed in his casket and anyone walking up to the bar at his funeral could push a button and make him fart. Even in death, the man committed to the bit. That’s not just comedy… that’s legacy planning.
