McBride says the first concert she ever went to was an Ozzy Osborne concert. She told her parents that she was going with a group of friends, but ended up going with just one friend. Several more country stars have signed on to CMT Celebrates Our Heroes: An Artists of the Year Special. Carrie Underwood, Sam Hunt, Luke Combs, Kane Brown, Brandi Carlile, Tim McGraw and Darius Rucker are the latest artists announced as participants in the upcoming CMT event that will honor the heroes working on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic. CMT Celebrates Our Heroes airs on June 3 at 8 p.m.
Matthew McConaughey shares his thought On The Coronavirus … He says the war against the Coronavirus has been politicized. He says we’re fighting two wars right now … one against the virus and a political one. He says if we try to fight both wars, we’re going to lose. McConaughey says this is not a political issue. He says we were united against the virus, but then the human factor started to split us. He says we’re having a tug of war with the virus and we need everyone’s hands on the rope. He says we should wear our masks as badges of honor. He doesn’t see masks as political, but as how we can take care of ourselves.
