The List for Thursday April 30th 2020

Thomas Rhett and his wife Lauren Akins are virtually visiting The Kelly Clarkson Show today. They will connect with the talk show host from their home in Nashville to chat about life in quarantine and swinging on vines? They just moved into their new home and was exploring and his wife notice a vine hanging from a tree and the kids were trying to swing on it….and Thomas went to make sure it was stable to swing on…turns out it wasn’t and he thinks he bruised his tail bone. Thomas will also deliver a performance of his new song, “Be a Light,”

Toby Keith Wishes Willie Nelson A Happy Birthday, Willie turned 87 yesterday … He says, “Willie Nelson, Happy Birthday, bud! 87 and many a moon. Hope you live a great long life, have a wonderful birthday, pal, and remember, ‘Don’t let the old man in.’ See you, buddy.”

Disney wants fans to be their guest again during the quarantine. After the success of the “Disney Family Singalong” on April 16, ABC announced a Mother’s Day follow-up special, “The Disney Family Singalong: Volume II.” Ryan Seacrest will host the show starting at 7 p.m. ET Sunday, May 10. Guest stars were not yet announced for the new one-hour show. The first special featured on-screen lyrics for sheltered viewers to perform along with performers including Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato, Josh Groban, Darren Criss, Christina Aguilera, Michael Bublé, Kristin Chenoweth — and even surprise performer Beyoncé. The special will also serves as a way to raise awareness about nonprofit organization Feeding America and those facing hunger during the COVID-19 crisis.

Add Kevin Bacon to the list of actors who want to play Joe Exotic if a movie about Netflix’s breakout docuseries hit “Tiger King” is ever made. Like everyone else who’s stuck inside self-quarantining amid the coronavirus pandemic, the actor has been binge-watching the documentary about the former Oklahoma zookeeper, whose real name is Joseph Maldonado-Passage. Speaking yesterday on the “Today Show,” host Al Roker asked if Bacon would be interested in playing Joe Exotic in a potential movie. “Sure I’d play Joe Exotic in a second,” the actor said. “It’s funny because before that even came out, I said to my wife, you know, she said, ‘Why are you watching that show?’ I said, ‘This is an amazing show’ and I said, ‘The reason that I’m watching this show is because these are the kind of characters that I get asked to play and, to me, documentaries are way better.’” He added: “So listen, fingers crossed, if you could put in a good word for me Al, I’d appreciate that.”

The Sun says Mama June made $10,000 last month by making personalized Cameo video messages for fans apparently this is a thing now…“Harry Potter” star Tom Felton who played “Malfoy” is doing personalized video shout-outs on Cameo but they are on the more pricey side..charging $288 per request. According to the Cameo website, but he’s by no means the most expensive person to get a shout-out from on Cameo. Sean Astin ($295), Andrew Dice Clay ($299), Bethenny Frankel ($275) and Chris Sullivan ($299). Despite the high price for a shout-out, Felton’s profile on Cameo has a 4.9 rating out of a possible 5 stars. He even has some glowing reviews for the videos he’s already sent to people.

The List for Tuesday, August 26th 2025

Welcome to The List,

Tom Cruise is reportedly working on a prenup for Ana de Armas… before he even pops the question. The plan is: she says yes, and a lawyer walks in with a stack of paperwork thicker than a "Mission Impossible" script. Look, he’s crazy about her, but, he wants everything in writing. Honestly, Tom’s love language “Sign here, initial there.”

-----

Lainey Wilson almost bought a jet ski on impulse… because that’s what beer does to people. She and her fiancé Duck were at their favorite restaurant when she saw someone cruise in on a turquoise jet ski and said, “We’re gettin’ one!” But by the time she finished her beer, Duck had talked her out of it.  You know you’ve got a keeper when he stops you from buying floating money pits.

-----

Aaron Lewis is going after Bruce Springsteen, saying he “duped us all” with Born in the USA…calling it one of the most anti-American songs ever. Which is wild, because half the country still thinks it’s a fist-pumping patriotic anthem. I guess the real American tradition is… not reading the lyrics before cranking it at a barbecue.

-----

So Snoop Dogg takes his grandson to see Disney’s Lightyear… and his grandson asks, “Papa Snoop, how does a woman have a baby with a woman?” Snoop’s response? “Eat your popcorn, lil man.” He told a podcast he’s scared to even go to the movies now, because kids ask questions he can’t answer. Imagine Snoop, high as a kite, sweating in a Pixar theater like, “Man, I just wanted Buzz Lightyear, not a biology exam.”

Helen & Portland 8/28/2025

Our KIX Critters of the week are Helen and Portland!!

Both females are FIV+ but it's not a death sentence for either of these two cuties!! Jodi explains what FIV is and the fact that FIV+ cats can be adopted with other cats. She does state that you should talk to your vet about it, first. I suggested to adopt the two together!! Their adoption fee is only $25.00 each!! More information

Portland

Portland is a playful, affectionate cat with a funny personality and the cutest little hops. She’s FIV-positive, which means she has a weaker immune system and needs a bit of extra care, but it doesn’t stop her from enjoying life to the fullest. She loves being petted, chasing toy mice, and soaking up attention.

Portland would do great as the only cat or in a home with other FIV-positive kitties. She’s spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped—ready to find her forever home.

If you’re looking for a sweet, spirited companion, Portland is your girl!

Helen

Helen is a sweet and friendly 2-year-old cat who came in with her three adorable kittens, all of whom have since been adopted. Helen is a big fan of head scratches and cuddles—she’ll happily come right up to you for some love. She enjoys lounging in her bed, but also loves curling up with people for some extra warmth and attention.

Helen has tested positive for FIV, which means she needs a little extra care due to a weakened immune system. She’d do well in a home with other FIV-positive cats or as the only cat, soaking up all the attention! Helen is spayed, up-to-date on her vaccinations, and microchipped, so she’s ready for her next adventure with a loving family.

If you’re looking for a sweet companion who loves affection, Helen could be the perfect match!
