The List for Thursday April 9th 2020

Welcome to The List –

Some of your Country stars discuss what they are doing during the quarantining –

Florida Georgia Line Star Tyler Hubbard Talks About The Positives Of Quarantining … “It’s been fun to try to push yourself to do things that you typically wouldn’t do, like try to eat healthy for a week and then workout steady, and then also, just spending time with the family and investing in our marriage and investing in our children. It’s just been a lot of fun. We’re staying positive and we know this is eventually gonna be over and life will resume as it once was. And so, we’re just trying to learn from this and remember what we’re grateful for, and the things that we maybe took for granted before this.”

Sam Hunt Talks About What He’s Been Doing During The Coronavirus Quarantine … “We’re doing well. We’re stocked up on groceries and supplies and we live south of town. We just moved into a little cabin out in the woods about five months ago, so we’re getting some time in the new place, getting to know it a little bit. There’s some woods behind the house we can go and walk in, and we’re doing that now after we binged out on Netflix and You tube, and got some dogs. I’ve got a little bird dog puppy, I’ll get out in the yard, trying to train, so I’ll mess with him a little bit. But getting to spend some time around the house, taking it easy, but I’m hoping this thing passes sooner than later.”

Rita Wilson wants Tom Hanks to celebrate her life with “lots of singing and dancing” if she dies before him. Earlier this year, the couple became the first stars to be publicly diagnosed with the deadly coronavirus. And, after fighting off the illness, the star reflected on death in a pre-recorded segment on Tuesday’s installment of The Kelly Clarkson Show, where she said she and her husband have had “very serious discussions” about how he is to handle her passing. “I said to him, ‘Look, if something happens and I should go before you then I just want you to know that there’s a couple of things that I want. One is that I want you to be super sad for a really long time,’” Rita said. “The second thing was that I wanted a party. I wanted to have a celebration and I wanted to have a lot of singing and dancing and people telling stories and to feel like that was being celebrated,” she added. Back in 2015, Rita underwent a double mastectomy a month after being diagnosed with breast cancer and, in December, 2015, announced that she was “100 percent healthy.” “In some ways, cancer was a blessing,” she told Kelly. “It really taught me to live every moment to the fullest and every moment as if it were your last. We don’t know what tomorrow brings. We have to be able to live, and go out today going, ‘Wow, OK. I did it. I did everything that I wanted to do. I lived the life that I wanted to live today,’” Rita added.

The Sun newspaper says Macaulay Culkin is allegedly being paid $3 million for a walk-on cameo in the new “Home Alone” reboot. A source tells the newspaper, “No Home Alone is complete without the star of the show, Macaulay. Disney bosses were desperate to get him on board and they’ve opened their wallets in a big way to do so. His cameo is being planned and they’re working out the details – but it’ll cost them nearly $3 million for the privilege.”

The Daily Mirror says a woman from the Philippines has named her newborn son Covid Bryant after the coronavirus and the late Kobe Bryant. Over 50,000 people have liked the baby’s name on Twitter. Some people think the child is going to get bullied because of his name..The LA Lakers are working out a deal..

The List for Wednesday, December 31st 2025

Welcome to The List,

Former Beverly Hills, 90210 star Ian Ziering is being sued over a wild 2023 New Year’s Eve incident on Hollywood Boulevard involving motorcycle riders. A plaintiff claims Ziering got out of his car and shoved him, sparking a larger fight and injuries. Ziering says he was checking damage after being approached aggressively and insists it was self-defense. Now the whole thing is headed to court. Hollywood never disappoints.

Taylor Swift just made Christmas a whole lot better for Kansas City Chiefs employees. During a holiday game at Arrowhead Stadium, Taylor surprised staff with cash gifts. One worker shared that Taylor handed her $600 personally, leaving her emotional and overwhelmed. Santa wears red, apparently with lipstick.

-----

Jimmy Kimmel is allegedly planning to end his ABC late-night run in May 2027, and insiders say he wants Donald Trump as his final guest. The thinking is one last headline, one last laugh, and the ultimate mic drop. With audiences shifting to streaming and ratings changing, sources say internally this is being called Jimmy’s “goodbye year.”

-----

Riley Green told CMT he thinks old-school politeness still matters and too many people have forgotten that. He says simple things go a long way, and he’s not wrong. In a world of comment sections and hot takes, Riley just wants people to act right. Country manners never go out of style.

The List for Tuesday, December 30th 2025

Welcome to The List,

Kim Kardashian just answered the age-old question: what do you buy for someone who has everything? A $125,000 bike from Pee-wee’s Big Adventure. Kim gifted Kourtney the iconic red bike, which came from a private collection and went for way more than expected at auction. Kourtney called it the “coolest Christmas present.” Meanwhile the rest of us are out here comparing air fryer prices.

-----

Thomas Rhett told People magazine that he loves jumping into whatever hobbies his kids are into. He says that’s what his dad did for him, and now it’s his turn. One week it’s something new, this week they’re riding horses. He says every kid needs one-on-one time. Which is sweet… and also explains why that man is always exhausted.

-----

If you listened to country music at all in 2025, congrats, you basically listened to Jelly Roll and Morgan Wallen. Year-end streaming and radio numbers show both guys dominating the most-played tracks of the year. Post Malone, Shaboozey, and Jordan Davis also landed big. Classic voices mixed with newer hits defined the year. And yes, Post Malone is still country’s weird cousin who keeps getting invited back.

-----

It’s official. Stranger Things just dropped the trailer for its series finale, and it’s pushing every nostalgia button known to man. Hopper gives Eleven a pep talk, Vecna’s still mad, red skies everywhere, and emotions are running high. The finale hits New Year’s Eve on Netflix and will also screen in theaters. One last trip to the Upside Down. Prepare your feelings.
