The Marshalltown boys’ golf team fell by 10 strokes 316-326 in a dual meet against Waukee to open the season on Thursday at the Beaver Creek Golf Course.

Cole Davis shot a 1-over-par 73 to come away with the medalist honors.

The Ames Little Cyclones downed Dowling 305  312 to begin the season at Veenker Memorial. Senior Connor Van Weelden fired a 72 for medalist honors.
