Friday is, of course, the one year anniversary of the EF-3 tornado that charged through Marshalltown, leaving a whole lot of damage, but miraculously, not loss of life or serious injuries.
We will be airing many interviews with folks who were in the midst of the storm and its aftermath throughout the day on KIX 101.1. In one of those interviews, Marshall County Emergency Management Coordinator Kim Elder talked about watching funnels pop up and dissipate through the afternoons, as storm spotters spread out around the county.
You can hear the full interview with Kim Edler and others, including Police Chief Mike Tupper, Jenni Hart of Park and Rec and Governor Kim Reynolds throughout the day Friday on KIX 101.1.
