The Marshalltown baseball team split a doubleheader with visiting Ottumwa on Wednesday evening. The CAts came to life to take the opener by a final of 4-2, a game heard on 1230 KFJB. However, the Bulldogs came back to blank MHS 2-0 in the nightcap.

The Bobcats will be back at it Thursday evening for a make-up game at Cedar Rapids Kennedy.
