The Salvation Army will be expanding its food pantry program beginning this Friday with the debut of Sal’s Cupboard. Up till now, the food pantry was open three days a week, but beginning Friday it will be open every weekday. Captain Pam Kasten says the first time folks stop at Sal’s Cupboard, they will need to provide an id and proof of residency.

Hours will be from 9:30 to 11:30 mornings and afternoons from one to 3:30 at the State Street Headquarters of the Salvation Army.
