A Nebraska man was killed Friday in a two vehicle accident on Highway 20 in Hardin County.

A pick-up driven by Brian Kerr of Evansdale blew the left front tire. That caused the pickup to cross the median and hit a vehicle nearly head on driven by David Pearson of Oakland, Nebraska. Person later dies at a Mason City Hospital. Kerr and a passenger in the Pearson car were also airlifted to Mercy Hospital in Mason City.
