With a location nailed down, the plans for Oketemberfest September 27th through the 29th are moving forward. All of the activity will take place at or around the Central Iowa Fairgrounds. Marilee Weatherman says the Saturday morning parade will begin at 7th Avenue and Olive and continue along Olive to 17th Avenue.
Some of the plans are still up in the air, but there will be plenty of room for the carnivals and other staples of Oktemberfest at the Fairgrounds.
