While the unemployment rate remained steady in the state in February, most Iowa counties saw a decrease in the unemployment rate.
Marshall County’s jobless rate fell three-tenths of one percent to 6.4. Grundy County’s rate was 3.6 percent, Hardin four percent, Tama 4.5 percent and the jobless rates declined to 3.7 percent in both Jasper and Poweshiek Counties.
Story County continues to have the lowed unemployment rate in the state, dropping one half of one percent to 1.9 in February as compared to January.
