Storms moved through parts of the listening area Thursday night into Friday morning. To the north large hail was reported at Aplington, Parkersburg and Jesup, to the south hail 2.75 inches in diameter was reported at Knoxville, one inch hail at Colfax, large hail was reported at Newton and 60 mile per hour winds, large hail was reported at Lambs Grove in Jasper County, large hail was reported at Belle Plaine and 71 mile per hour winds were reported at rural Grinnell. Precipitation chances are 60% tonight and 50% by day tomorrow.
