The area received rain overnight and some flurries of snow Weednesday morning. Parts of eastern Iowa Tuesday recieved Thunderstorms and some tornado warnings on the final day of February. There was a tornado sighting in an area nearby the I-80 Truck Stop near Walcott. Other parts of eastern Iowa received thunderstorms and hail. For our area March has arrived like a lamb for the most part. Warmer weather is predicted for the weekend.
