Every year six people in Iowa are recognized for all the work they do with their County Fairs. Russ Parker, Operation Manger at Iowa Agribusiness Radio Network, talks about the 2nd annual Heart of the County Fair Award.
They choose six people because there are six county fair district across Iowa. Parker says they have worked with the Iowa State Fair to come up with a form that people can fill out to submit a nomination. People can find the nomination form at iowaagribusinessradionetwork.com. Winners will be notified during their County Fair.
County Fair day at the Iowa State Fair is scheduled for the first Friday, which is August 14th this year.
