This week is National Telecommunicators Week and Marshall County Sheriff Joel Phillips raved about the 911 Communications team in Marshall County.  He says they are the first first responders.

Their job is to gather life saving information to then provide EMD, Emergency Medical Dispatch.

Dispatchers are coordinating with multiple agencies at once while also trying to assist someone who is having the worst day of their life.

Sheriff Phillips spoke very highly of the Marshall County 911 team and wants everyone to celebrate them this week during National Telecommunicators Week
