Friday morning, Iowa State Representative David Blom joined the KFJB line to talk about a bill he is working on in the Statehouse, HF 2310.  This provides money for pediatric cancer research at the University of Iowa.  He said recently the subcommittee met to discuss this bill.

In total this will open about $3million for pediatric cancer research at the University of Iowa.

The bill is now eligible for a vote in the House Appropriations Committee this week.
