Marshalltown Street Superintendent Rick Legg knows that this is the time of year where potholes are a common site.

Legg has a team of 12 that work to maintain the streets and they are asking for the public’s assistance to locate all of the potholes.

When people call he asks that they leave an address for the pothole or at least identify which block the pothole is located.  Legg is encouraging people to call in the potholes and to not assume someone else has done it.

Legg says people can also call his department about any washed-out alleys as well.  That number is (641)844-1888.
