Marshall County Conservation has a variety of summer camps that people can register their kids for.

That is Conservation Director Emily Herring who says they offer camps through 6th grade age. For some of the older youth they also have summer skills.

Herring says most of their camps are during the day and not overnight, but they do offer an overnight experience for 5th and 6th graders.

Herring thinks it is important for youth to spend time outside at night.  Youth will be able to meet new people as well as learn some new skills.  Learn more about summer camps at marshallcountyia.gov
