Marshalltown Fire Chief Christopher Cross, KFJB Super Fan, he announced that the City and County are set to meet to discuss a partnership for Emergency Medical Services across the county. They are set to meet on March 24th at 5:30 at the Marshalltown City Council Chambers.
Chief Cross says he is excited for a productive conversation. He says the way it could be split is that the County would be the financial arm while the city would implement the program.
Previously Chief Cross worked in Windsor Heights where they had EMS out of the Fire Department, so this concept is not new to him.
Chief Cross said multiple times that he is looking forward to finding a solution to the EMS situation in Marshall County.
