Coming up on Wednesday, March 11th, Marshall County Public Health is putting on a program all about Cancer. Iowa has the 2nd highest rate of new cancer cases in the Nation. This is in collaboration with, The Iowa Cancer Registry, University of Iowa College of Public Health, the Iowa Cancer Consortium, University of Iowa Health Care Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center, and Iowa Rural Health Association.
That is Marshall County Public Health Director Sydney Grewell. She says this meeting is part of a 99 county project.
