The List for Thursday, February 26th 2026

Welcome to The List,

Apparently, Spider-Man’s newest villain isn’t Green Goblin… it’s geography. The upcoming movie “Brand New Day” will NOT include the Statue of Liberty, and fans think Sony is trying to keep China happy after “No Way Home” got benched over Lady Liberty. Sony’s CEO says it’s just a “coincidence,” which is corporate speak for, “Please keep buying tickets.” How can you have a superhero movie and NOT have cultural landmarks.

CMA Fest is coming back to Nashville June 4th through the 7th, and Nissan Stadium is about to turn into the Avengers of country music. We’re talking Ella Langley, Cody Johnson, Riley Green, Tim McGraw, Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, and basically half your playlist. If you can’t go, ABC and Hulu will air it later… so you can enjoy it from your couch while wearing pajama pants and pretending you’re backstage.

------

Luke Combs says he worried his weight and appearance might keep him from making it in country music. Which is wild, because now he sells out stadiums full of people who also enjoy tacos. Turns out talent still beats six-pack abs… and Luke Combs just became the patron saint of “I’m not dieting, I’m following my dreams.”

-----

Jean-Claude Van Damme just challenged Jake Paul to a fight, and even promised to donate part of the money to charity. He also posted an AI photo of himself kicking Jake, which is either a threat… or the coolest retirement hobby ever. Jake hasn’t responded yet, but somewhere there’s a slow-motion montage warming up.

The List for Wednesday, February 25th 2026

Welcome to The List,

How much tragedy can one family take? Martin Short’s daughter Katherine has died at just 42 from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. She was one of three children Martin adopted with his late wife Nancy Dolman, who passed away in 2010. His rep says the family is devastated and asking for privacy. Martin has postponed his upcoming show with Steve Martin in Milwaukee.

-----

Apparently, Prince Andrew wants a support group with Prince Harry called “Spare Parts Anonymous,” but Meghan Markle is NOT approving the membership. Insiders say Andrew feels bonded with Harry over being mistreated by the Royal Family, but Meghan is disgusted by him and wants nothing to do with it.

-----

Boot scoot alert, Brooks & Dunn are extending their Neon Moon Tour with 14 brand new headlining shows this fall. This comes after sharing stadium stages with Morgan Wallen and major festivals like Stagecoach. The tour kicks off September 10th and wraps October 9th, with the closest stop to us in Moline, Illinois. Presale starts today, and yes, the code is BOOTSCOOTIN, which might be the most Brooks & Dunn thing ever.

-----

Carson Daly just took a playful flamethrower to Blake Shelton’s ego at a Voice event in New York. Talking about Blake winning People’s Sexiest Man Alive in 2017, Carson said Gwen Stefani must’ve been the only one voting. For the record, Adam Levine and John Legend have won it too, so apparently Voice coaches come with built-in abs…
