Iowa has the 2nd highest new cancer rates in the Nation and Marshall County Public Health Director Sydney Grewell wants to discuss cancer. She is putting on a public meeting on Wednesday, March 11th in collaboration with The Iowa Cancer Registry, University of Iowa College of Public Health, the Iowa Cancer Consortium, University of Iowa Health Care Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center, and Iowa Rural Health Association.
The meeting is at the Marshalltown Public Library from 5 – 6pm or people can attend virtually through Zoom. This is a free meeting and it is more of a presentation than a question and answer, there will be a short time for questions throughout the presentation.
