The Bobcat Girls faced off against Dowling Catholic for round two in playoff basketball. It was a tough night Saturday as they traveled down to Dowling. Dowling is ranked #2 in the state and they flexed that ranking Saturday. They started the game on a 17 – 0 run as the first quarter ended, 17 – 0. The Bobcats finally scored in the 2nd quarter but the halftime score was all Dowling as they led 38 – 9.
The game finally came to an end with the Maroons up 59 – 18, ending the Bobcat season. They finish with a record of 14-10. Many of the senior class spent 4 years on varsity building the program to multiple 10 win seasons.
