Ollie 2/3/2026

OUR KIX CRITTER OF THE WEEK IS OLLIE!!

Ollie was found on someone’s property, and from the moment he arrived, he showed  what a truly loving and gentle boy he is. He has a soft, affectionate nature and absolutely adores being close to people. Sit down for even a moment, and Ollie will happily curl up in your lap, purring contentedly as he settles in for cuddles. He’s a sweet, calm companion who loves attention and finds comfort in simply being near his humans.

Ollie is about two years old and is  fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, and has tested negative for FIV/FeLV, so he’s all prepared for a fresh start with a family of his own. With his warm personality and desire for closeness, he would make a wonderful lap cat and a loyal friend.

Ollie is ready for a safe, loving home where he can finally relax and share his gentle heart—could he be the perfect match for you? Being our KIX Critter of week Ollie’s adoption fee is only $25.00!! Call ARL 641-753-9046 for more information.

The List for Thursday, February 5th 2026

Welcome to The List,

Rumors are flying that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have allegedly set a wedding date. A so-called source says the planning is “military-level precise,” which tracks, because Taylor hates surprises and Travis runs NFL playbooks for a living. Pop music, professional football, and Hollywood elite all in one room. Locked down, protected, unforgettable. Basically the most intense group project ever attempted.

-----

Former Bachelor host Chris Harrison is launching a new dating show for people who want a “traditional, marriage-minded partnership built on commitment and shared values.” Which apparently is now considered edgy programming. Somewhere, reality TV just gasped. This is not roses and drama. This is compatibility and emotional maturity.

-----

Before Luke Combs made it big, he had $200 left in his bank account. That money went toward mastering one song, “Hurricane.” He releases it, sells about 10,000 copies the first week, and uses the cash to finish the rest of the album. Then pitches it to labels. And that, kids, is how you bet on yourself and win.

-----

Toby Keith, Kenny Rogers, and Ed Harris are being inducted into the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum. The ceremony happens in April in Oklahoma City. They’re joining legends like George Strait, Brooks & Dunn, Kurt Russell, and Burt Reynolds. That is a hall with serious swagger. Cowboy hats optional. Legends required.

Catch The List, with Jonathan Knight weekday afternoon at 4:20. Only on Iowa’s BEST Country KIX 101.1
