Life Serve Blood Center is leaning into the Super Weekend coming February 6 – 8th. Over the winter the weather can affect blood drives and donations according to Tim Pollack PR and Marketing Director for Live Serve. He says there is a pregame blood drive happening Saturday, February 7th.
Pollack says it is easy to sign up for an appointment
Their website is lifeservebloodcenter.org. He says there is another blood drive in Marshalltown before the Super Bowl, February 5th outside of UnityPoint Hospital. All the blood collected at that drive will go back to UnityPoint in Marshalltown.
