M.I.C.A., Mid-Iowa Community Action, is an organization that helps individuals and families at or below the poverty line bring themselves out of that situation.

That is Resource Development and Communications Coordinator, Abra Dougherty.  She says they try to take a whole family approach with each situation.

Dougherty says they pride themselves on know what other programs are out there, if M.I.C.A. does not have a program to help you, they may know another organization who can.
