Last night was the Regional Diving competition at the Marshalltown YMCA-YWCA. Marshalltown had Harlie Thatcher diving, it was her first year on the diving team but Thatcher is not new to diving. She said all year she continued to improve and set a personal record last night.
Thatcher scored a 365 and that placed her in 6th place with a great chance to dive at State. With improvement between each competition, Thatcher is already thinking how she can score better at State.

The swimming portion of Regionals is set to take place Saturday at the Marshalltown Y with competition set to start at 12noon.
