Six bids were opened on Wednesday for the phase 1 updates out at the Marshall County Sheriffs Office.  Last year all of the bids came in nearly $1.5 million over budget.  This year, after scaling back phase 1, all but two of the bids came in under the revised budget.  The low bid came from a company out of Belle Plain, Garling Construction with a total bid of $1,663,000.

Back in December the County Supervisors allocated about $2 million of ARPA funds for this project.
