The List for Monday, August 25th 2025

Welcome to The List,

Jennifer Lopez must be getting desperate word is she’s about to hire a millionaire matchmaker to find her next boyfriend. That’s right, a million bucks to find someone who’s cool with hair stylists, makeup artists, and cameras in their face 24/7. Basically, J.Lo’s looking for love and a man who doesn’t mind living in a reality show.

Maren Morris had a wild meet-and-greet moment a fan grabbed her butt before her show. She posted that one creep won’t stop her from meeting fans, hugging, and connecting, but seriously don’t cross the line. Maren’s there to share music, not get groped.

—–

At a Coldplay show, a guy asked to propose on the jumbotron but before giving the green light, Chris Martin grilled him. First question: “Is this your partner? Yes? No one else’s partner?” Nothing like a background check before a proposal.

—–

Miranda Lambert and Chris Stapleton just dropped a brand-new video for “A Song to Sing.” It’s dripping with 70s nostalgia, filmed inside the Brentwood Skate Center just outside Nashville. Roller skates, disco vibes, and killer country vocals this thing is pure gold.

You can catch The List, weekday afternoons at 4:20 with Jonathan Knight. Only on Iowa’s BEST Country KIX 101.1

The List for Thursday, February 5th 2026

Welcome to The List,

Rumors are flying that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have allegedly set a wedding date. A so-called source says the planning is “military-level precise,” which tracks, because Taylor hates surprises and Travis runs NFL playbooks for a living. Pop music, professional football, and Hollywood elite all in one room. Locked down, protected, unforgettable. Basically the most intense group project ever attempted.

-----

Former Bachelor host Chris Harrison is launching a new dating show for people who want a “traditional, marriage-minded partnership built on commitment and shared values.” Which apparently is now considered edgy programming. Somewhere, reality TV just gasped. This is not roses and drama. This is compatibility and emotional maturity.

-----

Before Luke Combs made it big, he had $200 left in his bank account. That money went toward mastering one song, “Hurricane.” He releases it, sells about 10,000 copies the first week, and uses the cash to finish the rest of the album. Then pitches it to labels. And that, kids, is how you bet on yourself and win.

-----

Toby Keith, Kenny Rogers, and Ed Harris are being inducted into the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum. The ceremony happens in April in Oklahoma City. They’re joining legends like George Strait, Brooks & Dunn, Kurt Russell, and Burt Reynolds. That is a hall with serious swagger. Cowboy hats optional. Legends required.

Catch The List, with Jonathan Knight weekday afternoon at 4:20. Only on Iowa’s BEST Country KIX 101.1
