Robert Englund tells Screen Rant that he would like to see a prequel exploring Freddy Krueger’s past. “I would like to see something ‘retro’ in A Nightmare On Elm Street. I would like to see a prequel that explores Krueger’s arrest, time in jail, and all the courtroom drama around his case.” Englund played Krueger for years.. Rascal Flatts announced a reunion tour running from February to April of next year . . . Lauren Alaina and Chris Lane will open. And Cross Canadian Ragweed is reuniting again after 14 years to play the first ever show at Boone Pickens Stadium, where the Oklahoma State Cowboys play.

The April Minuteman Printing & Graphics Pack the Backpack winner, is Sarah Fricke – K-4 Special Behavior Intervention Teacher @ Woodrow Wilson Elementary School in Newton. She was nominated by Steven Marsh, Jaimie Bru, Ashley Durant, and Jonathan Duran, and here is what they wrote to Kix 101.1.

Only Kid Rock could turn a poolside salute into a military investigation. The Army says two Blackhawk helicopters near his Tennessee mansion were just on a Nashville training route, but now they’re checking into why they hovered there. Kid says nobody’s getting in trouble and called it pretty neat. Nothing says casual Tuesday like cannonballs, patriotism, and two black helicopters hovering near your house…

Thomas Rhett says one of his favorite parts of touring is trying wild new foods on the road, which sounds adventurous and expensive. Meanwhile Dylan Scott keeps it a little more backyard chaos at home, admitting he’ll wander into the kitchen at midnight and cook a full meal like it’s noon. His wife wakes up confused; he’s making dinner round two. That’s not a snack, that’s a second shift.
