Story County residents are able to dispose of their yard waste at no charge during their Spring No-Charge Yard Waste Day. This year that is planned for Saturday, April 18th but this year it is at a new location. From 8am – 4pm Story County residents can drop waste off at 309 Carnegie Ave.
Participants should enter the site from Dayton Avenue, turn west at Edison Street, and follow the signs to the site. To exit, participants will follow Carnegie Avenue south to East Lincoln Way.
This yard waste drop off will include grass and leaves but trash is not accepted. People can learn more about the new site at cityofames.org
