In less than a week on March 24th, the City of Marshalltown and Marshall County will meet to discuss the idea suggested by the EMS Task Force of working collaboratively. This meeting will be held at the Marshalltown City Council Chambers and it is open to the public.
That is County Supervisor Carol Hibbs who was part of the EMS Task Force. She says one thing that will be discussed is adding an Essential Services Levy across the County.
Hibbs says this is a great opportunity for the leaders across Marshall County to discuss what a combine effort could look like.
The meeting is set for 5:30 and will take place at 10 W State Street in the Marshalltown City Council Chambers.
