March is National Reading Month and Scooters Coffee is celebrating. This year they have partnered with Reading Is Fundamental, a national literacy nonprofit, to spread the joy of reading through a special children’s book giveaway. On Thursday, March 12th families can Scoot on Around to any Scooter’s Coffee location after 3 p.m. and receive a free “Peppa Pig Family Trip” book with the purchase of any kid’s drink. Each book includes a special postcard, perfect for a friendly “Hello!” or “Oink, oink!” to chronicle the sips and trip.
CEO of Scooters, Joe Thornton, said in a press release, “Being a member of the Board of Reading Is Fundamental (RIF), I am very proud to see our local communities come together to inspire the joy of reading through this giveaway.”
