Anyone who is thinking about taking classes this fall with Iowa Valley, whether that is a full semester course or one of their programs with the Continuing Education Department, should fill out the FAFSA.  Filling out the FAFSA will determine you are eligible for any financial aid.

That is Rachael Koehler, Associate Director of Financial Aid with Iowa Valley.  She says that program will calculate an SAI (Student Aid Index) which will determine the level of aid.  Koehler says the FAFSA has made this process much easier

Once you have finished, an email will hit your inbox from the college you are trying to attend confirming they received your information. Award letters would be sent out in the next 6 weeks or so.

Koehler encourages everyone to fill out the FAFSA no matter your income level.  People can start the process at studentaid.gov
