Yesterday was the State Qualifying meet for Boys Bowling. As a team the Bobcats ended in 3rd place knocking over 2900 pins just behind Waterloo West with 3351 and West Des Moines Valley’s 2991. This is the first time in 12 years that the Bobcat team did not qualify for State.
The Bobcats will have representation at State with two individuals, Gage Grieves and Carter McCready. Gage got a 670 series which placed him in 5th, McCready had a 659 series and in 7th place. The 3A individual state meet will take place on Monday, February 23rd at Cadillac Lanes in Waterloo.
