Friday night basketball was a fun one for the Bobcats as the boys and girls traveled down to Des Moines for their final road game of the season. The teams took on Des Moines East Scarlets, and the girls made quick work of them getting a running clock early in the 3rd quarter. The girls go on to win the game, 49-11 earning their 12th win on the season.
On the flip side, the boys game was back and forth until the last 5 minutes of the game. The Bobcats were down 11 points, 46-35 with 5 minutes to go. They finish the game on an 18-3 run and beat the Scarlets in their house 53-49. It was a total team effort to get the victory and the boys now move to 13-7 on the season.
The final game of the regular season for both the boys and girls is set for tonight in the Marshalltown roundhouse as the Des Moines North Polar Bears are coming to town.
