Do you want a chance to drive a cop car?  Shoot some different guns in a range?  Learn about what Police Officers in Marshalltown go through?  The Marshalltown Police Citizens Academy is the class for you.  Captain Sadie Weekley shares some details about this class.

Captain Weekley says they have officers coming in to talk about defensive tactics, K9 unit, firearms experts, detectives, and more.

Participants will first start their work in a classroom before they hop into a vehicle or head out to the gun range.  This is a free course that meets once a week on Tuesdays from 6pm – 9pm.
